Lea Harb is a licensed clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and co-founder of Koena Clinics. Driven by a passion for helping people understand themselves and build healthier relationships, she founded Koena Clinics with Nicole El Hawi to offer a warm, evidence-based space where clients can work through the patterns that keep them stuck. Lea also runs team supervisions to ensure the best possible quality of practice and ethics. With over eight years of clinical experience across hospital, outpatient, and private practice settings, she brings both depth and flexibility to her work with adults and couples. She also offers a safe and non-judgmental space for people to express and understand themselves.
Lea's clinical focus is centered on the inner struggles that quietly shape people's daily lives. She works extensively with clients who struggle with stress, anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, OCD, self-esteem and empowerment challenges, addiction, anger management, trauma and mood disorders. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in CBT, with a focus on helping clients recognise and shift unhelpful patterns in their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. She is also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and holds extensive and continuous CBT certifications from the Beck Institute. All her trainings allow Lea to tailor her work to each client's unique needs and goals. Alongside her work at Koena, Lea practises in a hospital setting and supervises psychologists in CBT as well as early-career clinicians.
Lea holds a BA in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame University, and an MSc in Applications of Clinical Psychology from Kingston University London. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Mons, where her research examines how societal and cultural factors shape attitudes and perceptions of infidelity among Lebanese couples. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
